what is it, you might ask...
we had this project to build planar representations of cow skulls out of poster board and masking tape, TONS OF FUN,,(shoots self)
and then we had to do value studies....
it's a really interesting process.... I think I would would enjoy trying to do something of this sort. but, maybe a different subject. I'm very entralled with processes that build up a texture surface. getting tired of the flatness of everything around me.
good use of color with the pops of red. you've done a wonderful job! you better had made a good grade on this piece
the process helps you recognize things that you distort when your drawing, and helps you familiarize with the complicated shapes, angles, sizes, relations that are what most subjects are made up of. I'd recommend it to anyone all though its a real pain in the neck.
personally I think its all about the red under study that I popped out in places. Without that, this image would be a mute point.
Or as some would say, a moo point,
like a cows opinion,
Am the boy whos just joking.
